Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to support our research, operations, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate is meticulous, tech-savvy, and comfortable handling sensitive scientific and operational data with accuracy and confidentiality. This role is perfect for candidates who enjoy structured work, flexible scheduling, and contributing to impactful biotech initiatives behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain datasets in internal databases and spreadsheets
  • Review and verify source documents to ensure data accuracy
  • Assist with organizing and digitizing laboratory and operational records
  • Flag data inconsistencies or errors and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them
  • Perform routine data quality checks and generate simple reports as needed
  • Support document management processes, including file naming, categorization, and archiving
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely data submission
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and scientific information

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related role

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred:

  • Experience working in biotech, healthcare, research, or laboratory environments
  • Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) or CRM tools
  • Understanding of basic scientific terminology (helpful but not required)

Schedule & Work Environment

  • 10–20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options
  • Hybrid work setting strongly preferred; remote candidates may be considered
  • Occasional on-site work for document handling or team meetings may be requested (if local)
