Job Title: Logistics Director
Type: Full-time (Remote)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Partial overlap with EST; availability for late evening calls (10–12pm local) is required to liaise with suppliers in India and China.)

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations—from sourcing to delivery.

Vendor Communication: Act as the main point of contact with factories and suppliers in India and China, including resolving issues such as incorrect box sizes or packaging specs.

Freight & Forwarding Coordination: Manage relationships with freight forwarders and shipping partners; coordinate container building and dispatch schedules.

Order Management: Own the full order lifecycle including processing, fulfillment tracking, and updates to major retailers (e.g., notifying PetSmart when an order is ready for pickup).

Inspection Reports: Review and maintain documentation for product inspections and shipping quality.

Customer & Partner Liaison: Respond promptly to emails, calls, and customer inquiries—professional communication with partners is essential.

Invoicing: Handle basic invoicing tasks related to logistics and freight operations.
Ideal Candidate should have the following:

Experience: Must have prior experience in international logistics, import/export, and freight coordination.

Communication: Proactive communicator who responds to emails and calls without delay.

Detail-Oriented: Able to manage multiple shipments and orders without missing key details.

Night Shift Availability: Comfortable speaking with factories and freight partners during late evening local hours to align with Asia time zones.

Initiative: Takes ownership of the logistics process and solves problems without requiring constant follow-up.
